Team Horze Riders Update

Our team riders have been non-stop competing all across Europe recently! Here’s an update of some of their results.

Amy Inglis

Amy Inglis: Our whirlwind of a showjumper has been taking Europe by storm recently. In the run-up to selection for the European Team, she has been jumping in several viewing trials. And she has been gliding through them! At Hagen recently, Amy was pathfinder (first to go for the team) and jumped double clear ensuring first place for Britain in the Nations Cup. She then went on to get 4th place in the Grand Prix.  This weekend she is at the final viewing trial before the selections for the European team get underway, so we’ve got our fingers crossed for her!

Benjamin WinterBenjamin stayed in Germany for the cic*** u25s in Wiesbaden. He rode incredibly and came in second! The following week he competed with his second horse in the cic *** in luhmühlen. It was the German championship as well and his horse very good job! “The course was very tricky and there was a lot of heavy jumps! I was so proud of my horse! My best horse “wild thing z” was ill, so I had to compete with my second horse, but everything was easy to ride and in the end we were placed in my class and in the championship!” He told us.

Mike Patrick Leichle:  It’s been a hectic few weeks for Mike. First, he was in Balve, where Plinton was placed in 1.40m, and his youngster Sixtus also was placed in 1.35m and 1.40m.  Last Weekend Czerny (Austria) was third today in the 1.40. Sixtus was also placed and Canturado was clear in the big tour, and Raena was clear with Orphee in the big tour and placed with Arsalla in the 1.40m! Now he’s home for the first time in two weeks.

Anna Julia Kontio: Anna Julia has been in Luxemburg at CSI2* & CSIU25 Roeser with Cassano II, Le Prestige St. Lois de Hus, Rio Nuevo and Escape where she was winner of the day! 1.45m Rolex Ranking class! Cassano II was also 4th in the 1.40m!

Jan Weaver

Ellen Birgitte Fabrot: Ellen Birgitte has been in the dressage arena at Aarslev and Tebbestup the last couple of weeks. “I rode Tailormade Domigo, it was his first show ever, in an L level class. He scored almost 65% and was just outside the placements” she told us. Bergeruds Aragorn did well at his second show at  M level, and scored almost 66%, but did not get a prize. At Tebbestup she rode Tailormade Mr Pink to a second place at S level, scoring 66%. Tailormade Soroya also achieved fourth place in M level scoring 64%. It was the fourth time ever that she rode Soroya. “I’ve got a lot to look forward to: Next show is 6-9/7 at Aastup, I will bring Tailormade Domigo,Bergeruds Aragorn, Krones Abba, Royal Siandra and 9 of my pupils!”

Jan Weaver: This month we’ve gone into a new sponsorship agreement with our first rider in the United States! Jan Weaver is a 16 year old Show Jumper from North Carolina. She has gained a fist-full of ribbons in the United States Pony Clubs (including being 3rd in the country in horse management skill in 2010) and with local associations in eventing and jumpers. Currently, she trains both riders and horses in addition to working on her own horse and her schoolwork, and has particularly found a niche starting/restarting horses. We are proud to sponsor such a positive, enthusiastic and involved rider and look forward to seeing Jan progress!
