Meet our first American Team Horze rider!

FINAL (5 of 42)

Horze USA are proud to sponsor 16 year old Jan Weaver form North Carolina!

Jan is currently bringing up her own horse, a young off-track Thoroughbred. She restarted him herself and has brought him along to schooling 3’6+ regularly. Her goal this year is to move him up to the Children’s jumpers at rated (C and A) shows, with the intentions of doing the 3’6 equitation and Junior jumpers next year. She would love to try for the NAJYRC’s (North America Junior Young Riding Championship)  in show jumping.

She has gained a fistfull of ribbons in the United States Pony Clubs (including being 3rd in the country in horse management skill in 2010) and with local associations in eventing and jumpers. Currently, she trains both riders and horses in addition to working on her own horse and her schoolwork, and has particularly found a niche starting/restarting horses.

Eventually, her goals are to ride at the Grand Prix level and have her own farm, but her more immediate goals are finishing her horse and moving him up the levels.

We are very proud to sponsor such a positive, enthusiastic and involved rider and look forward to seeing Jan progress!

Jan’s profile will be published on our team gallery very soon. Follow along here!
